Istituto Comprensivo in lingua italiana Bassa Atesina is a comprehensive school located in the northern Italian autonomous province of Bolzano/Bozen with 7 primary schools and 2 lower secondary schools. There are about 500 pupils, 75 teachers and 20 support staff. IC Bassa Atesina has some experience in Comenius EU-projects (2003-2006) and has been involved since 1993 in CLIL projects (particularly in German). Personnel at IC Bassa Atesina have many years experience in CLIL teaching (German and English).

IC Bassa Atesina will work together with partners in order to develop CORE programmes according to the aims of the project.

IC Bassa Atesina – together with IC Predazzo-Tesero – will be in charge of the in-service teacher training courses at European level and will collaborate with the partners in developing the conceptual framework.

IC Bassa Atesina will also be responsible for disseminating the project at local, regional and national level in Italy.
